About me and how I work
Originally from South Africa and England, I have lived in New Zealand since 2011. I practice fully online, allowing me to serve clients throughout Aotearoa, with sessions taking place via Teams or phone. Sessions typically last 55 minutes and cost $140 per session.
My approach is down-to-earth, practical, and non-judgmental. Rooted in Person-Centred Therapy, I tailor each session to your needs, integrating modalities such as Internal Family Systems, nervous system regulation, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy when helpful. My focus is on creating a space where you feel truly heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
My practice is grounded in compassion, respect, and inclusivity. I welcome and affirm LGBTQIA+ clients and am committed to providing a safe and supportive space for all.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Counselling and am a provisional member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC), practicing according to their ethical framework.
